The Leica M2 with an improved film loading and transport mechanism, and viewfinder with 35, 50 and 90 mm frame lines became the standard upon which all subsequent M camera were based on.
This Rare, 1965 *ELC* Ernst Leitz Canada, production is in a Excellent condition. The camera shows signs of use, but feels perfect in the hands. Even at the ripe age of 59 years, this fine shape M2 will still make a wonderful classic film Leica to own and enjoy.
The camera was completely CLA’ed in 2022. The viewfinder is clear and bright. The rangefinder is smooth and precise. Shutter speeds are precise and curtains are in excellent condition. An M2 to admire and to use for making truly classic and personal photographs.
