A godsend for rangefinder photographers using portrait and telephoto lenses, the Leica Viewfinder Magnifier 1.4x is remarkably comfortable and convenient to use. By magnifying the rangefinder images, focusing accuracy is a snap. The viewfinder image is magnified by 40% with the 1.4x magnifier, providing very comfortable 1X viewing of the subject. Another added benefit of the 1X magnification, it makes viewing with both eyes very comfortable.
The viewfinder is quickly screwed into the viewfinder ocular of the camera. A small chain attached to the camera’s carrying strap eyelet prevents it from being lost or damaged. The leather pouch is supplied for safekeeping when the viewfinder is not attached. The 1.4x viewfinder is ideal for focal lengths of 75mm and up.
