Meet Richard Cavalleri: Photographer, Polyglot, Citizen of the World
I've known Richard Cavalleri for years. He is a part-time Montrealer and a full-time citizen of the world. A few years ago, he walked away from a career in finance to pursue his true passions: travel and photography. He has never looked back.
Fluent in several languages and blessed with a real knack for connecting with people, Richard has spent years building a deep knowledge of places and trails that most outsiders never discover. With respect for the local landscapes, history, and culture, he leads small groups (usually two to four people) on intimate photo trips, far from the crowds. And yes, he is an amazing photographer.
From the four corners of Europe to the Middle East, and from Africa to Asia, Richard has been there. He has uncovered the hidden gems that make the road less traveled so well worth exploring.
His rates are honest and reasonable, and his clients, many of whom are also clients of Camtec, rave about the quality of the experience and the value they receive. Richard is thorough, with a gift for logistics and planning, so you can focus on what matters: the shot.
His 2027 schedule is already taking shape:
- Tuscany & Cinque Terre: April 23 – May 3
- Uzbekistan: May 8 – 19
- Madeira: September 10 – 17 and September 18 – 25
- The Dolomites: October 7 – 14
- Slovenia: October 14 – 21
If you'd like to join a photographic adventure with like-minded people, don't hesitate to drop him a line. Richard is approachable, engaging, and always happy to chat about what's possible.
