The team at Camtec Photo is thrilled to offer the local photographic community a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Join us for an exclusive book design workshop led by renowned book editor and designer Yolanda Cuomo, whose visionary work has shaped some of the most iconic photography books of the past few decades.
From Steve McCurry to Susan Meiselas, Larry Fink to Matt Black, and Diane Arbus to Josef Koudelka, Yolanda has collaborated closely with photographers to edit and design books that have become defining works in their careers. A true tour de force in book design and editing, she brings unparalleled expertise to this workshop.
Yolanda will guide participants through the editing, sequencing and design process, helping them create a polished, cohesive book that reflects their vision and authorship.
This workshop is meant for photographers with a body of work who are looking to publish a book, as well as designers seeking to refine their skills and deepen their understanding of storytelling through print.
In this two-day hands-on session, you'll explore both the creative and technical aspects of book design — from concept development, to layout and sequencing. Yolanda will share insights from her extensive career, providing invaluable guidance on how to bring your ideas to life in book form.
Each participant will leave with a printed mock-up of their book — a tangible representation of their finished work.
