Description
The PORTRAIT HELIAR 75mm F1.8 is a large-aperture manual lens designed for Nikon Z and Canon RF full-frame cameras. As the first Voigtländer lens to incorporate a spherical aberration control mechanism, it allows modulation of the bokeh by adjusting under- and over-correction for varied effects: soft and blurry at the center or sharp with a “bubble” background.
Despite its Heliar construction (6 elements in 3 groups), it reaches F1.8, featuring a mechanism that compensates for focus shift when varying aberrations. The tactile control ring allows an intuitive feel of the correction state.
It includes electronic contacts, supports in-body stabilization and focus assistance, with a minimum focusing distance of 0.7 m. The all-metal barrel and precise helicoid ensure smooth focusing, while the 9-blade mechanical aperture produces pleasant and well-defined bokeh.
Key Features:
- Various bokeh effects via the control ring
- Compatible with Nikon Z and Canon RF
- Full-frame image circle
- Electronic contacts for camera communication
- Rigid and durable metal barrel
- Reliable manual focusing
- Silky bokeh with 9-blade aperture
