This beautiful Summilux is in excellent, almost new condtion. It comes complete with box and accessories.

It will make a great addition to any M system!

The 50 Summilux ASPH heralded the new standard of optical design and performance at Leica. All lenses that came after it are compared to the near-perfection that this lens is capable of producing on the M cameras.

The Leica Summilux-M 50mm f/1.4 ASPH supersedes a lens with the same speed that, notwithstanding a few minor modifications, had been part of the M lineup since 1962. The goal of this lens is to create a benchmark that redefines the boundaries of photography with a standard focal length. The Summilux-M 50mm f/1.4 ASPH succeeds in spades! It delivers virtually the same outstanding performance throughout all apertures and focus settings.

Whether using selective focus at close range or in contrasty available light, or an extended depth of field to capture landscapes, the 50mm f/1.4 ASPH handles every situation with ease.

Every innovation currently available in lens technology – aspherical lenses, glass with anomalous partial dispersion, glass with a high refraction index and a floating element has been combined to create a lens that sets the new standard in this focal length class.
