Description
Since its launch, the APO-Summicron-M 75 f/2 ASPH. has set new performance standards in the Leica rangefinder system. A fast, compact short telephoto, it serves a wide range of uses from portraiture to reportage and ranks among the very best lenses in the M-System.
Apochromatic correction, achieved with anomalous partial dispersion glass and a high-refractive-index aspherical element, virtually eliminates colour fringing and chromatic aberration, while a rear floating element keeps imaging performance high throughout the focusing range, down to the 0.7 metre close focus distance. Brilliance and resolving power are outstanding even at full aperture.
Compact and robust, with a built-in extendable lens hood and an E49 filter thread, it is an ideal companion for demanding photography.
