This contemporary 35mm Summicron ASPH, including its hood and all accessories, was purchased new in 2022. The photographer used it carefully on his M11 to capture beautiful street and city images.

The lens is in excellent condition. Only a few marks on the edge of the hood and the aperture ring. The optical elements are flawless. The focus ring is smooth and fluid. The aperture ring is firm and clicks nicely.

With high contrast, exemplary resolution even at its widest aperture, and providing a virtually distortion-free image, the Summicron-M 35mm f/2 ASPH is a most coveted lens. Stop down the aperture to f/4 and the resolution and contrast are unsurpassed. Fitted to any Leica M camera, the photographer is equipped with a highly compact and elegant unit that excels at taking pictures in discreet situations.
