Updating a classic for today's imaging standards, this Nokton 50mm f/1.2 Aspherical II Lens from Voigtlander is an extremely fast, normal-length lens for Leica M-mount rangefinder cameras. This second iteration of the Nokton 50mm f/1.2 sports a completely black filter ring to eliminate unwanted reflections, and features improved internal structures that reduce its weight to a mere 11.4 oz.
Its 12-blade iris opens to a maximum aperture of f/1.2, creating soft, circular bokeh, providing precise depth control, and allowing the lens to excel in low-light conditions. The advanced optical design incorporates four aspherical surfaces and one partial dispersion element that work in tandem to suppress both spherical and chromatic aberrations for greater sharpness, clarity, and color rendering. Additionally, the Nokton's manual focus design permits working with subjects as close as 2.3' away.
