Description
The NOKTON 75mm F1.5 aspherical is equipped with electronic contacts that allow vignetting, lateral chromatic aberration and distortion to be corrected directly via the camera. These functions can be conveniently activated by switching them on or off on the side of the housing. In addition, the usage data of the lens is saved in the Exif information of the images.
An outstanding feature of this lens is the built-in rangefinder, which is compatible with cameras that have 5-axis image stabilization. This function uses the distance information of the subject to improve stabilization and thus enables sharper shots even under difficult conditions.
Manual focusing is made easier by the viewfinder magnification when the focus ring is operated. The optical construction of the NOKTON 75mm F1.5 aspherical consists of seven elements in six groups and offers impressive compactness and high performance despite the large aperture of F1.5. Particularly noteworthy is the outstanding resolution that the aspherical element delivers even at full aperture.
The minimum focusing distance is 0.55 m. The lens offers precise manual focusing via the robust metal focus ring, which has a diamond pattern for optimum grip. The high-precision metal helicoid ensures a silky-smooth focusing experience. For videographers, the aperture ring offers click-free operation, allowing the aperture to be adjusted silently.
