The 70–180mm F2.8 VC G2 is a large-aperture telephoto zoom lens that combines TAMRON’s exclusive VC image stabilisation with a premium compact and lightweight design, delivering exceptional portability and stability across a wide range of shooting situations. It offers uncompromising image quality throughout the entire focal range. At wide-angle, the lens achieves a minimum object distance (MOD) of just 0.3 m, enabling close-up compositions with unique expressiveness. For autofocus, the lens is equipped with TAMRON’s VXD linear motor focus mechanism, providing outstanding quietness and responsiveness for ultra-fast, accurate AF in both still photography and video. In addition, the lens is compatible with TAMRON Lens Utility™ software, which allows for function customisation to match different shooting styles for photography and videography.
