Description

Sony RX10 V Features
Stunning image quality from wide-angle to super-telephoto
With a 1.0-type image sensor and a 24-600 mm zoom range, the RX10 V builds on the strengths of the RX10 series while incorporating the latest Sony α technology for enhanced performance and outstanding image quality. This all-in-one camera makes it easy to capture high-quality photos with beautifully blurred backgrounds.

25× optical zoom 24-600 mm F2.4-4 ZEISS® Vario-Sonnar T* lens
The versatile 25× optical zoom covers everything from wide-angle to super-telephoto. The ZEISS® Vario-Sonnar T* lens features eight ED (Extra-low Dispersion) elements, including two aspherical ED elements, ZEISS T* coating, and Optical SteadyShot image stabilization for exceptional sharpness and clarity throughout the zoom range.

1.0-type Exmor RS™ CMOS image sensor
The 20.1-megapixel Exmor RS stacked, back-illuminated CMOS sensor delivers detailed images with natural gradation. Its stacked architecture enables significantly faster signal processing.

BIONZ XR™ image processing engine
Sony's BIONZ XR processor provides excellent image quality with effective noise reduction, particularly at mid to high ISO settings. Advanced algorithms optimize exposure while preserving natural colours and smooth tonal transitions.

Outstanding macro performance
Capture subjects as close as 3 cm (1.18 in.) at the wide end or 72 cm (28.3 in.) at full telephoto. With maximum magnifications of 0.42× (wide) and 0.49× (telephoto), the RX10 V makes detailed close-up and macro photography effortless.

Wide dynamic range with D-Range Optimizer
The enhanced D-Range Optimizer balances highlights and shadows while offering adjustment levels up to Lv8. Higher settings brighten shadow areas in high-contrast scenes, producing more natural-looking images.

Creative Look presets
Create distinctive styles for both stills and video directly in-camera. Twelve Creative Look presets can be used as supplied or customized and saved for future use.

Blackout-free continuous shooting up to 30 fps
Capture fast action at up to 30 frames per second with continuous autofocus and auto exposure tracking. Up to 60 AF/AE calculations per second ensure precise subject tracking, while blackout-free viewing and silent shooting help you capture decisive moments.

575 phase-detection AF points
Fast Hybrid AF combines phase-detection and contrast-detection autofocus. With 575 phase-detection points covering approximately 70.6% of the image area, the system delivers fast, accurate focus across a broad portion of the frame.

Real-time Recognition AF
Powered by the BIONZ XR processor and a dedicated AI processing unit, Real-time Recognition AF accurately detects and tracks people, animals, birds, insects, cars, trains, and aircraft. An Auto mode can automatically determine the appropriate subject type.

Human pose estimation technology
Advanced AI recognizes eyes, faces, body position, and head orientation, enabling reliable subject tracking even when faces are turned away or partially obscured.

Real-time Tracking
Simply half-press the shutter button to activate highly accurate Real-time Tracking. Touch Tracking lets you instantly select a subject directly on the LCD monitor.

4K 120p high frame rate recording
Record detailed 4K video at up to 120p for smooth slow-motion playback. The RX10 V also supports S&Q recording, 10-bit 4:2:2 internal recording, and All-Intra compression for professional-quality video production.

Active Mode image stabilization
Advanced Active Mode combines optical and electronic stabilization using highly accurate gyro sensors to deliver smooth handheld video, even while walking.

Professional digital audio recording
The Multi Interface Shoe includes a built-in digital audio interface compatible with Sony digital microphones. It supports high-quality 48 kHz / 24-bit recording with two or four audio channels.

S-Cinetone™
Sony's S-Cinetone picture profile delivers cinematic colour with beautiful skin tones, soft colour reproduction, and pleasing highlight roll-off, requiring little or no colour grading.

S-Log3 for professional workflows
S-Log3 preserves wide dynamic range and smooth tonal gradation, making colour grading easier during post-production. S-Gamut3 and S-Gamut3.Cine colour spaces are supported, and custom LUTs can be imported for immediate preview of the final look.

Shot Marks for easy frame extraction
Shot Marks added during recording or playback allow marked video frames to be automatically extracted and saved as still images, simplifying hybrid photo and video workflows.

3.68 million-dot Quad-VGA OLED electronic viewfinder
The high-resolution 0.5-type OLED viewfinder offers approximately 3.68 million dots and 0.78× magnification for a bright, detailed viewing experience. It supports refresh rates up to 120 fps and allows multiple customizable display layouts, including simultaneous histogram and level display.

1.62 million-dot tilting LCD monitor
The 3.0-inch touch-sensitive LCD monitor features approximately 1.62 million dots for crisp image display and precise focusing. Its tilting design makes shooting from high and low angles more comfortable.

Automatic display orientation
Shooting information displayed in both the LCD monitor and electronic viewfinder automatically rotates to match horizontal or vertical camera orientation for improved readability.

Improved ergonomic grip
A redesigned grip, inspired by user feedback and Sony's α series cameras, provides greater comfort during extended shooting sessions. Refined button placement further enhances handling and responsiveness.

Faster, more responsive focusing
The redesigned Focus Mode switch is now positioned on the side of the lens, providing handling similar to Sony E-mount lenses and quicker AF/MF operation. A dedicated Focus Range Limiter allows you to preset the focusing distance from 3 m to infinity, speeding autofocus by preventing the camera from focusing on unwanted foreground objects such as fences during sports or wildlife photography.
