Outstanding G Lens optical performance
ED (Extra-low Dispersion) and aspherical elements in an innovative optical design result in a compact, lightweight lens that delivers high resolution and minimal chromatic aberration throughout the image area. A minimum focus distance of 0.15 m and maximum magnification of 0.22× enable dynamic close-up perspectives with smooth background bokeh.
Fast, accurate AF and intuitive MF
The linear-motor focus drive ensures fast, precise AF and tracking, while focus breathing is effectively suppressed for smooth, professional-looking movies. The linear motor drive system and circular aperture unit are also quiet, so lens noise and vibration do not spoil movie audio. Linear Response MF provides intuitive manual focus control when needed.

Optimized projection reduces the lens size to 63.1 × 82.8 mm and weight to just 314 g. With a diameter of just 63.1 mm, this compact lens is an ideal choice for shooting natural-looking 3D and VR content using a dual-camera setup. The left and right lenses can be positioned approximately 64 mm apart, matching the average human interpupillary distance for natural spatial reproduction and impressive depth.
