The Sony FE 50mm f/1.4 GM is a compact, lightweight prime lens offering excellent image quality for both stills and video.
It features advanced G Master optics (including XA and ED elements, plus Nano AR Coating II) for high resolution, sharpness, and beautiful bokeh. Its bright f/1.4 aperture allows shallow depth of field and low-light shooting.
Two XD Linear Motors provide fast, quiet, and precise autofocus, with a minimum distance of 16 inches. New controls include an iris lock switch and a de-clickable aperture ring for video.
The lens is dust- and moisture-resistant, with a fluorine coating on the front element.
