Description
The ultimate expression of a professional super-telephoto zoom.
The best in the field see what’s coming; the NIKKOR Z 120-300mm f/2.8 TC VR S delivers the performance to meet it. A zoom range perfect for the unpredictability of sports and wildlife, plus a built-in 1.4x teleconverter to reach even farther. The flexibility of f/2.8, relentless AF accuracy and handheld agility, all with extraordinary image quality comparable to a prime lens. This is peak performance for those at the peak of their craft.
One lens. So many stories.
Your position may be fixed, but your perspective doesn’t have to be. With a single lens, you can seamlessly move from the unfolding action to the defining moment.
The world’s first f/2.8 zoom with a built-in teleconverter.
Without changing your grip or taking your eye off the action, engage the built-in 1.4x optical teleconverter and reach up to 420mm f/4.
630mm equivalent with DX Crop Mode.
Activate DX Crop Mode and extend your reach up to a 630mm equivalent angle of view. On the Z9, you can even set DX Crop Mode to activate automatically when the teleconverter is engaged.
Next-generation focus performance.
In fast-paced moments, subject, distance and composition change in an instant. The NIKKOR Z 120-300mm f/2.8 TC VR S has the AF performance to keep up.
Fewer elements. Lighter weight.
Thanks to thinner lens elements, a reduction in the number of elements and an optimized lens barrel, the NIKKOR Z 120-300mm TC VR S is approximately 1.5 lb (705 g) lighter than its F-mount predecessor.
The lens centre of gravity is nearer to the camera body for more controlled panning. And because the lens has internal zoom, that centre of gravity never changes.
