The lens was purchased new less than a year ago. Used to produce beautifull and personnal images, the lens is still in perfect condition. Optical elements are perfect, focus and aperture rings are firm and precise.

The Summilux-M 50 f/1.4 (I) was introduced in 1959 as the first lens released under the Summilux name, derived from the Latin summa lux, meaning maximum light. Since then, Summilux has become synonymous with high-speed Leica lenses featuring an aperture between f/1.4 and f/1.7.

The new interpretation of this legendary lens blends a classic vintage look with state-of-the-art technology.
