Description

The Summilux-M 50 f/1.4 ASPH. Safari edition pairs the optical and mechanical refinements of the current Summilux-M 50 with a durable matte olive-green finish and accentuated adjustment scales, for a striking and distinctive look.

It shares the same optics as the standard model: eight lenses in five groups with an aspherical element and a floating-element design, an eleven-blade diaphragm for rounder bokeh, and an integrated retractable round lens hood. Its closest focus distance is 0.45 metres, handled by the rangefinder to 0.7 metres and via Live View, the Visoflex or the Leica FOTOS app between 0.7 and 0.45 metres.

Compact, light at 337 grams and beautifully balanced, it brings the unmistakable Leica look to the most versatile of focal lengths.
