Description
The wide-angle lens for photographing expansive scenes. Whether it is dramatic landscapes, impressive architecture or extreme perspectives, the 21mm Summilux not only draws every detail into the picture, but also effectively recreates the atmosphere. With its high lens speed, uncompromising sharpness, natural colour rendering and minimal aberration, you can take impressive shots that show not only where you were, but also how it felt to be there.
The outstanding lens speed, the very wide angle of view and the well-balanced body design make the Summilux-M 21 f/1.4 ASPH. the perfect choice for low-light photography, especially when you want to create expressive images with a wide-angle lens. At full aperture the lens brings pronounced subject separation, while at medium apertures it delivers incredible sharpness across the entire field of view.
The Summilux-M 21 f/1.4 ASPH. consists of ten lenses in eight groups, five of which use glass with anomalous partial dispersion. Developed and manufactured in Germany, this design corrects vignetting and distortion outstandingly. Thanks to a floating element, very high image quality is maintained even at close range. Series VIII filters can be used with the patented, rectangular lens hood.
