The Midland Ontario developed and manufactured lens was the pride of Mandler-era Ernst Leitz Canada years.
Released in 1980, Groundbreaking computer design glass formula was used to develop this compact and fast 90mm Summicron.
In 1993, Leica introduced the Silver-Chrome, brass option. Beautiful, classic, AND hefty. The extra weight makes as stable as it gets. With its extra smooth focusing throw, it makes it easier to nail critical focus.
This particular lens is in near perfect condition, only slight signs of use on the outer edge of the telescopic lens hood. A rare chance to own Mandler’s best contribition to Leica's lens design.
If you are a fan of shallow DOF, beautifully toned portraits, there can be no better choice! Whether you shoot film or digital.
