Description
A classic among Leica wide angles, the Summicron-M 35 f/2 ASPH. combines compact dimensions with reference-class image quality. Offered in black and silver finishes, it comprises seven lenses in five groups, including an aspherical element that corrects spherical aberration for excellent sharpness and high contrast across the entire focusing range.
Its close focus distance is 0.7 metres. A rectangular screw-on metal lens hood offers reliable protection from glare and physical impact, and the finely tuned mechanism, with a comfortably short rotation angle, allows fast and accurate manual focusing with the Leica M. Stopped down only slightly, the lens reaches a maximum of resolving power and contrast, with virtually no distortion.
