The Leica SF 24D is suited to both digital and film photography. Thanks to its compact design, this flash is highly convenient and always ready to use. It features a maximum distance between the reflector and the camera lens. This significantly reduces the risk of red eye in photos of people and animals. The Leica SF 24D offers usable sensitivities ranging from 12 ISO to 3,600 ISO in M/TTL mode and from 25 ISO to 800 ISO in A mode. The beam angle corresponds to a focal length range of 35 mm to 85 mm and can be extended using the two diffusers included. This makes it possible to shoot with flash using wide angle lenses down to 24 mm and telephoto lenses up to 135 mm.
