Produced between 1966 and 1976, the Leica MDa is the technical version of the M4. This model is among the very last units to leave Leica’s production line in 1976.

Based on the M4 design, it keeps the M2’s film advance lever while losing the viewfinder and self-timer. Built for professional use in laboratories and other environments where reliability is critical, the MDa earned its reputation as the most robust Leica camera ever made by Leica.

Today, the MDa is making a comeback in street photography. Paired with a wide-angle lens and a external viewfinder, this setup shines when doing zone focusing or hyperfocal shooting.

A unique opportunity to stand out and explore a radically different approach to photography.
