Description
The Macro-Elmar-M 90 f/4 is a particularly compact telephoto lens with an integrated macro function, only about 59 mm long when retracted. Made of four lenses in four groups, it delivers remarkable sharpness, high contrast and a natural-looking bokeh across the entire aperture range.
Its close focus distance is 0.77 metres, which can be reduced to 0.41 metres with the optional Leica Macro-Adapter-M for a maximum reproduction ratio of 1:2, ideal for close-up work within the M-System. The retractable barrel design lets the lens collapse to save space, while it can still be used without restriction on digital M cameras.
Light, robust and versatile, it suits portraits with shallow depth of field, travel detail shots and discreet reportage from a distance.
