Description
The high speed and distinctive depth-of-field aesthetic of the APO-Summicron-SL 90 f/2 ASPH. make it a first choice for portrait photographers. At decisive moments, its precise and almost silent autofocus gives photographers more time to concentrate on composition.
Its optical system comprises eleven elements in nine groups, with one aspherical element and four elements of anomalous-partial-dispersion glass for apochromatic correction, so that even fine high-contrast detail stays free of colour fringing. Its close focus distance is 0.6 m.
Fast, near-silent Dual Synchro Drive autofocus, an AquaDura front coating, robust weather-sealed construction and the shared E67 filter size and handling of the Summicron-SL family round out a refined short telephoto.
