Versatile Zoom for Content Creators
Specifically designed for content creators and image-makers passionate about motion, the FUJIFILM XF 18-120mm f/4 LM PZ WR offers a highly versatile focal length range and an intuitive design that enables seamless control of zoom, focus, and aperture directly from the camera body. This lens is the first in the X Series developed in collaboration with FUJINON’s cinema and broadcast lens engineers, making it a top choice for video and motion-based applications.
Built for Video
- Equipped with a variable power zoom, smooth manual focus, and support for stepless aperture control (on select camera models), the 18-120mm offers precise and refined control over both focus and exposure. Cameras currently confirmed to support stepless aperture control include the FUJIFILM X-H2S, X-T4, X-T3, and X-S10.
- The power zoom allows for smooth transitions across the entire focal length range, managed via a newly designed zoom lever that enables variable zoom speeds.
- A traditional focus ring offers direct, intuitive manual control, while the lens supports easy switching between continuous autofocus and manual focus. This unique method—requiring a camera firmware update—unlocks creative possibilities for focus transitions and precise focal point adjustments at any time.
- Two custom function buttons allow users to preset a fixed zoom speed, focal length, or focus point.
Flexible Zoom and Advanced Optics
- With a 35mm equivalent focal range of 27–183mm, this lens spans wide-angle to mid-telephoto, serving as a comprehensive everyday shooting solution.
- The constant f/4 aperture ensures consistent brightness throughout the zoom range, aligning with the lens’s consistent zoom, focus, and AF control performance.
- Three aspherical elements help minimize distortion and spherical aberrations, resulting in sharper images with more accurate rendering.
- Three extra-low dispersion (ED) elements effectively reduce chromatic aberrations and color fringing, delivering superior clarity and color accuracy.
- The rounded seven-blade diaphragm contributes to smooth, circular bokeh—ideal for shallow depth of field and selective focus effects.
Intuitive Handling and Durable Build
- Well-suited for use on gimbals and stabilization rigs, the lens features internal zoom and focusing, maintaining a consistent center of gravity and physical length during operation.
- Despite its power zoom and broad focal range, it weighs just around 450g (1 lb), offering a lightweight build compatible with a wide range of stabilization systems.
- The weather-resistant construction protects against dust, moisture, and temperatures as low as -10°C (14°F).
- A front fluorine coating resists water, oil, dirt, and smudges, making the front element easier to clean and maintain.
