Spring in the Iberian Peninsula

As the years slip by at the speed of light (and shadow), I find myself travelling back to familiar places. Part nostalgia, part a search for what I may have missed before, my wife and I are drawn again and again to the southwest of Spain.

There, mountainous landscapes meet towns along the Atlantic shore. Age-old religious traditions and celebrations unfold in a vivid kaleidoscope of colour, flavours, rhythm, and street life. What resonates most is the quiet pride people carry for who they are and where they come from; something that reveals itself with every visit.
