CS (central shutter) is optically identical to the non-CS version, with the added feature of an electronically controlled leaf shutter that permits flash synchronization up to 1/1000 sec. The 120mm focal length should prove irresistible to fashion and portrait photographers. Despite continuous focus up to 1:2, its performance is equally impressive at medium distances and infinity.
